“Parents for Choice” Talks

Join us for our next “Parents for Choice” Talks on Saturday, February 17, 2018 starting at 10:30 a.m., at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas.

During this event, you will learn how to search for quality schools around your neighborhood. Often, there is much confusion when it comes to selecting a school for your child. What options do you have? How can you search for quality schools? What do you do when you don’t like the option that you have?

We have invited Opportunity 180 to share with us new online data resources where Clark County families can get a clear snapshot of school performance data – in English and Spanish.

Parents are a school’s #1 partner when it comes to student success, and they deserve access to as much information as possible about what their school is doing to prepare their child for success in college, career and life.

Join us for a walk-through presentation to navigate the tool, see how schools are performing, compare schools to each other, and get insight into what to look for to support your child’s education.

You will also learn about the Opportunity Scholarship that gives up to $7,934 to send children to private school and important information about open enrollment dates, as well as other various scholarships.

Seats are limited for this event and you will need to RSVP to secure your seat. RSVP here: nvedchoice@gmail.com or http://actnow.io/9EZwgpf.

We will also be giving our free pizza and drinks. Please join us!
